Content	My company, Military Sealift Comm, recently installed a marine fire do, manufactured by BN Cosmo on one of our vessels. I have not been able to contact the company directly due to the fact that their contact page is in Kean. I was hoping that I would be able to get the infmation I need through you. The do that we installed is a custom, split/dutch do with a fire class rating of B-15S. The following infmation was taken directly from the do. USCG - 164.136/EC : 0062/05/86 B1 EC Fire Class: B15S Date: 2008.12.22 S/N: 3 It seems as though the ABS survey does not see this do as meeting IMO/ABS certifications. The stard single do model does have ABS pedigree, however because we have a split/dutch do the ABS survey wants to make sure that it has the same characteristics.
