I am writing to ask specific questions about your A-60 rated barriers on this webpage: https://www.bn-bip.com/english/sub03/sub01.php
We are very interested in potentially using your A-60 barrier to create a US Coast Guard required A-60 barrier for a lithium-ion battery compartment for a commercial electric vessel. 1. Can the A-60 barrier be used in horizontal deployments? Note, it is not load bearing and also we do not have room for any sort of suspension. 2. Is the joinery between panels, specifically at the corners, form an approved A-60 barrier so that the barrier is uniformly rated? 3. Is your A-60 barrier tested by a recognized laboratory as A-60 and can you provide this documentation? The A-60 definition includes "steel or equivalent," which in the USA is interpreted as 1/4" of steel plate with A-60 insulation covering it and I am curious how you meet the A-60 definition with perforated metal. 4. Do you sell through any distributors in the USA or can we order directly from you? |
