We are currently pricing a 31M Offshore Catamaran for our client.
The vessel is to be built according to the Rules and Regulations of Lloyd’s Register with the following notation*100A1, SSC Workboat Catamaran G5, MCH, UMS
The Vessel will be built and certified for service in the New Zealand Offshore zone, or equivalent zones in other jurisdictions, with occasional international transit voyages.
The completed vessel must be suitable in all respects to comply with the Flag State requirements of either Cook Islands or New Zealand, as administered by either MCI or MNZ respectively.
Are you able supply us a budget pricing for the supply of marine accommodation units to suit the vessel?
The cabins are to be built generally of mineral wool sandwich board elements, or as a combination of prefabricated toilet/bath modules and partition wall/ lining/ceiling elements, or as sheet materials such as plywood with suitable laminated facings. Compressed wood products, such as medium density fibreboard, are not to be used anywhere on the vessel.
In all cases, materials shall be east to clean types, and where necessary approved by Class with respect to fire and smoke ratings. All partitions, panels and ceilings are to be removable wherever there are systems running behind that may require access during the life of the vessel.
The accommodation spaces in port and stbd hulls are to be as mirror images where possible. Mattresses to be a minimum length of 2030mm and width as stated for each cabin. All berths are to have reading lights and privacy curtains.
